Big crazy goals update
So opsgirl pointed me toward the slimfast.com website, and one of the things they have up there is a nifty "How much can you lose by X?" calculator. I started putting in dates randomly. The site always assumes an average loss of 2lbs per week, which is a heck of a lot. However, something hit me like a bolt of lightning. A lot of my buddies went down to Cabo San Lucas for spring break and had a killer time, and are planning another trip for this spring break. I was really neutral on going simply because I didn't wanna be the only flabmonster walking around the beach, it kinda defeats the purpose of going to a party mecca. So I put in the date for next spring break and it seems I can lose a maximum of 56 pounds.
Well, 2 pounds a week is kind of difficult. If I stick with 1.5 lbs a week, which is hard as heck but doable, it'll be 42 lbs. This will put me at 172... Past my goal, actually.
This means if I weigh in every two weeks I need to have lost at least 3 lbs every time I weigh in. This gives me a good way to judge my progress.
So next time I weigh in, on Tuesday, I'll have to be at least 212.5. From that point on it will be 3lbs every two weeks.
SO IT'S OFF TO THE GYM WITH ME!
update: Cardio workout 2 mi on treadmill 5 mi on bike 30 flights of stairs This is a static variable. I will do this every day. the only thing that will change is how long it takes me to do this, and how much weightlifting I do along with it.
