According to the following website, I should be eating about 2000 calories a day to maintain my current weight. So, I am going to shoot for eating around 1300-1500 a day to loose weight. http://www.nutritiondata.com/tools/calories-burned

2000 calories is the average for your body type. If you live a sedentary lifestyle it'll go down; and some people just have slower metabolisms than others.
