THE SUN IS SHINNING, but it is soooo cold outside! Meek 5 Degrees Celsius! I know its only Thursday but workwise its Friday for me :).

The Kettlebell class last night was on the tough side, guess it didn't help that I got there early & run intervals on the treadmill for 1/2 hour. Had my heartrate up to 168, but it seems to come down pretty quick when I slow down.

LB had a stress ECG not so long ago. The initial results where all great, but now a professor has studied them & during his recovery he had a blip. Now what does that mean? I tried to google it, but I couldn't find anything conclusive. guess we have to wait til he sees the consultant & they do further tests. I try to reassure him that it is probably nothing, but deep down I AM WORRIED!

1 of the girls that trains with James (she is beautifully young/skinny) is weight training with him. The other day she lifted 100kg. AMAZING!!!! Her goal is to lift double her body weight which is 118kg. It really inspired me :), & reading the ammount of weight that evelyn64 lifts, makes me think: I can do this too!

Not sure if I will hit the gym tonight, as I am out walking all day tomorrow. Will see.

I am glad that I came back to journaling....just putting things down, pulls a lot into perspective. FS rocks!

Hooray for conquering that kettle ball class!!! I was staying in the 170's yesterday during my run which was higher than usual for me, but I never know how accurate the treadmills really are because I'm using their heart rate monitor system and not my own. Anyway, I let it get down under 140 for my last 5 mins of cool down. I think it's supposed to mean you are in pretty good shape if it recovers quickly like you said yours does. I'm always trying to find out the perfect intervals for keeping it above 150 while walking and catching my breath! :) I'm a little envious of your cooler weather, it was 91 degrees Fahrenheit here yesterday so not even remotely autumn type weather. Oh - My daughter is that girl you mentioned above! She is this cute little tiny thing, 5'1" and weighs probably 105-110 lbs and lifts crazy amounts of weights! I call her "mighty mouse!" and just yesterday I was thinking about telling Evelyn how my daughter is just like her with the weight training and I have to go workout with her come Thanksgiving time! She's actually thinking of workouts to torture me with! LOL! I told her yesterday that I'd just got back from running but that it's not near an 8 min mile like she's been running but at least I can run while she's running just not quite as fast, and she said "Well I haven't decided yet what we'll be doing for cardio when you come to visit!" ACK! I told her that she's already planning to make me do weight training at least she could allowing something I'm fairly good at for the cardio! lol! I'm glad you came back to journaling too! lol that was exactly my reaction this morning...it's dark and OMG it's 5 degrees!! But sitting here at my desk you would never believe it - it looks like a summer's day out there..... Nice job maintaining your goal weight!!
