Yesterday was eye opening. I have a double title. I am the HR Coordinator and I am an executive assistant. So, the last couple of days I was asked to order lunch for 5-6 people. Yesterday, we ordered from Panera. No problem. I got soup and salad. However, I found out what some of my "triggers" are. After I was initially through with the first order, I had the cashier add a bag of their mini cookies (for the group) and a couple of regular chocolate chip cookies for me. Then after I placed the second order (for some people who gave me cash to pick up something for them) I had her add two more. It wasnt until I was walking away that I realized I DIDNT NEED THEM! Much less want them. I immidiately made the decision to give them to co-workers and *maybe* have 1/2 of one.

Then I get back to work go to the soda machine to grab 5-6 sodas and the first key I pressed was for "Coke" for me. I didnt even think about it. I gave that away and drank water (since I no longer had .75 for a diet, lol)

It just reinforced how easy it is to go back to old habits. I could have totally blown it yesterday. But I was able to catch myself and make wise decisions about how to change my mistakes.

So, this morning, I weighed the same as yesterday and I'm okay with that. Because I know I didnt sabatoge myself and end up weighing more.
