Congrats! but did you meant to say size 8 ( not 18) I am confused why you are wearing size 18 at 170 lbs. try on smaller sizes, you may be amazed to see you can fit possibly size 12.. but again Congrats and keep up the good work.  

Thanks polarbear. I'm wearing size 18 because I'm only 5 feet tall so at 170, I'm still quite wide! 

Our bodies are all so different, i am 5' 4" and have a medium frame, I wore a between 14 and 16 at 170 so it really depends on the maker of the clothes and our body's shape and bone structure. Congratulations on the new size...wooo hooo..I am happy for you! TOWANDA!!!!

Oh, Ruby you are doing so fantastic!!! Wow, that is great and look at the drop in that graph. Sorry that you are having to go out in the cold! Keep up the great work, and let us know what the doc says! I am 5'3" and I know what you mean about the clothes.  

Oh, ok! I hope I did not offend anyone.. I thought it was a typo.. I am 5"4 and wear a size 8/10..but Again, congrats on your progress 

I totally fit comfortably into a size 14 pant today!!!! SO EXCITED!! Congrats!!! 

No offense taken polarbear:d Funny how a few inches in height can make such a difference. My daughter is 5'3 and is about my weight yet she wears a size 14. 

And thank you all for your kind comments. Snow fell all day. It's 8:30 and 26 degrees. My doctor was so proud of me. Kinda weird to get that from a doc but it felt good. When I get my blood work back I'll post it. 

Betsy -- I had the same experience this week. My size 14s came out of the closet for the first time in 6 years. But we must be very different shapes because I now weigh what you weighed 20 pounds ago, at 5' 4 1/2. And actually, even the 14s are big in the butt and legs, but since I carry too much weight on my waste, I can't wear a smaller size yet. Let's hope regular sessions at Curves solves the problem.
