OK, so now it is Tuesday...a new day!
I have been having a hard time in the evenings with picking at stuff that I really should not be. That is the time when I try and get my excerisce in. But this week I have been studying for my final exams. So my excerise this week will be running up and down stairs trying to keep up with the laundry in between study breaks. :D
I was trying to get some studying in at work,that is going not too too bad. I will just be glad when this week is over.
I have a friend of mine, that when he quit smoking he put on a few lbs, well more like 30! He called me yesterday saying that his doctor suggested Adkins diet. He asked me about it so I looked into it. I was really surprised that a doctor suggested it. I was under the empression that it was not the healthiest way to loose weight. But, from what I read, it is really not too bad. So I might just have to read into it a bit more....maybe in the new year I might try that. I am just worried about the foods that you cannot have. i lost my weight with eating really what ever I wanted, just with portion control, and breaking the meals up into 6 small ones a day.
But we shall see.
But I better get back to work.....

have been on Atkins since February this year. I want to eat this way for the rest of my life!!! I feel really good and my body seems to work better. I really believe that everyone has to find the way that works best for them, and for me, that has been Atkins. I don't know where the negative ideas about Atkins come from - I find I hear them from overweight people more than anyone!! ha!! But if you've ever talked to someone who has done it, they are usually very healthy and loved it. I spoke to my doctor before going on it and he said that he recommends it to most of his patients. It really focuses on whole foods. If you are thinking about it, I'd recommend reading the Atkins Nutritional Approach. It is really scientifically based and you will learn a lot about food.
