My scale is finally moving again!! And that makes me want to be really good. It keeps me inspired - THIS EATING RIGHT THING REALLY WORKS!!
TOM has left, and I'm back to weighing in daily. I really like to do that because it keeps me on track. AND - I've hit my next goal - to be below 240! My next mini-goal is to get to 225. I can't even tell you how long it has been since I've weighed 225.
I have bacon in the oven right now and it smells so good. I haven't had it in a long time. I tend to retain water so bad that I kind of dropped it from my diet. But its early in the week and it sounded like a good treat. I'll drink lots of water for the rest of the day and hopefully won't see a rise in the scales tomorrow. If I do, then I'll know exactly what it was!!
I was thinking of my girlfriend Sandy, this morning, who lost a lot of weight on Atkins. I remember her telling me that she ate a pound of bacon five mornings a week!!! I, obviously, couldn not do that!!!
This challenge is really helping me stay focused. It has made me start journalling my food again - which has been a BIG help. And I love this weeks mini-challenge about reviewing your habits from the week before. BRILLIANT! ________________________________________

Yeah I know I shouldn't really have milk. But who can have chili without milk??? Sure made me go over in carbs!!! EEEK!!!
