Would not have been able to eat this way if I didn't get a set of supplements to deal with sibo and especially h pylori. Just acv (apple cider vinegar), mastic gum, calcium pyruvate - is enough to get things going on the right way. i always struggled with bloating, abdominal pain etc. Lately after all the stress I got through was so ridiculous that even eating a tiny piece of meat will get me suffering awfully. 2 weeks now on the sibo supplements - and while not completely better is 80% better than before. i love beans but I couldn't even touch then for more than 25 years - or I will regretted dearly (bed ridden for days with digestive problems). i didn't try yet just boiled beans. but the ones in my diary - I get them already boiled, I drain and wash them and refry them in .5 tbsp coconut oil, .5 tbsp olive oil. They taste amazing and little to no gassy. For a reason or another may be a day here or there when they will still get me a bit of gas, but by a bit - I really mean a bit - I notice it because I got so used to watch how I react to food after struggling so much with my digestive issues. In the rest, no more problems. yes, I am gluten and lactose intolerant - so still keeping away from that. but maybe in few months I will give them a try too. I found quite a bunch of research that states that if you weren't born with that sensitivities (and they didn't developed yet in allergies - so your immune systems trained itself to consider them harmful) then once you get the sibo seriously under control - the sensitivities may go away. I was never crazy about milk products. But a garlic bread still gets my mouth watering (sorry if I make anyone hungry).
I hope that by writing all this someone that struggled pr struggles like me with digestive issues may go in their all journey of solving their problems. I already did the antibiotics treatment for both sibo and h pylori long time ago and they came back with vengeance. so this time I wanted to find a more permanent solution. One that will protect me at all times.
and as a child I was crazy about European pickles and loved to sour anything with a bit of vinegar (I don't know why - but always loved that then). European pickles are vinegar based compared with other types of pickles. i never had a issue with my digestive system. Now I found that medical research shows that vinegar is the best for keeping in check and/or killing all that sibo causing bacteria. if you are worried about your teeth from all that vinegar - then acv pills are a choice as they bypass your stomach. And one more thing. Don't give up on your ulcer meds yet if you take them. Acv, mastic gum and calcium pyruvate do their job even if you take them. You can give it a try and see if you can reduce ulcer meds only after you are like 4 to 6 month in taking the supplements. The hole in your stomach or intestine needs time to heal.

Thank you for this. I’m going to do some testing on sibo. I was not born with gluten intolerance but have it now along with digestive issues.

You are welcome. It really did a bit difference for me from when I started. If you read my journal from time to time you will see how is going with the help of these aibo/h pylori supplements. With a bit of research you will find the medical research behind them. I am not sure about the policy of posting links in here - that is why I didn't post them. But they are in the American Library of Medicine. Most mastica gum research is coming from Greece but is backed by research from other countries. Apple cider vinegar research is widely spread with good research for a number of conditions including sibo/h pylori. And most of all - good luck.
