Tip of the day: eating out when you are over 45. No mains, no dessert. Starter (minus any bread)! Choose restaurants with a good size starter. Check the menus and hygiene ratings online before you head anywhere. And do most of your eating at home where you can count calories properly and you know what is in your food.

couldn't agree more, I never eat out without first checking the calories online, if unable to do that, I decide what im eating and try and guess the amount of everything, tweaking as I go until the calories r about right. I know then I've made the best effort to stick to my calories/macros
