Yesterday felt insane food-wise. It was my birthday so I was taken out for lunch and since we were eating at our usual restaurant I wasn't too worried. I know my calorie count in advance. I usually order a bacon ranch wrap, skip the sides and have a glass of water. I've been pretty good recently but I decided to have a coke and fries with my meal, planning to eat and drink only half of each... which I did. What I ordered isn't what came to the table though. They confused my order in the kitchen and sent out a fajita wrap instead. It saved me by a 100 calories. The thing that really threw me off was that I ended up with two birthday cakes. Turns out angel food cake isn't too bad calorie-wise. Hershey's triple layer fudge cake on the other hand.... just one slice was almost as much as my whole lunch count, I had a half. We had burgers for dinner and I was pretty sure I was already over calories so again I only ate half. Did half an hour of zumba before I was interrupted and then rode the stationary bike for an hour, over 16 miles. I also drank over a gallon of water and had five or six cups of tea. I was a little scared to get on the scale this morning but happily surprised when I got off and it was a lower number than yesterday. I've done a bit better today and it helps that the cake is gone. ^.^
