A picture from my beautiful walk yesterday in fresh snow. Got on the scale this morning. The more times I weigh the more weights. I chose to post my highest weigh in this week. Up a pound, down a pound it really doesn't matter much. I'm at a good weight at this point. I just want to try to stay on track with healthier eating and not become a slacker with exercise. I love where I'm at and don't want weight to begin sneaking up on me again. I'm considering a new trick for staying on track, my own brand of aromatherapy - inhaling my cookie dough laden hands rather than eating the cookies I'm baking for other people. Do you think that will work? ;) Ha ha, likely not! I only wish that being up a pound this week meant that I'd had a whole pound of cookies! Too bad it doesn't work that way ;) Well, I think enjoying especially delicious treats I don't have at any other time all year is fine as long as I keep tracking it all honestly. Very cold days ahead this week, below zero temperatures and single digits six days in a row. Will be getting out my warmest gear for venturing out. Trudging through the snow has added some intensity but also slowed me down a bit. I've been in awe of the beauty of the snow and I think it's finally got me in the holiday spirit. It is a good journal for me, too.👍 I love your picture as well. Beautiful snow scenes always bring me to my childhood memories with my late parents. I was a happy child and a carefree person. Speaking of weighing body weight, it already became my ritual to begin my day. Numbers on a scale help me evaluate my CICO and sleep quality, so I can use it to map how to find the right direction. Even though I am following the right track, sometimes I see unwanted numbers on the scale; however, it doesn't upset me. I allow my body to deal with a metabolism with enough time. I don't want to ruin my achievement with a tiny temporary change: I am becoming wiser to see what is going on with my progress. The more I appreciate my body with patience, the more positive outcomes from myself. It is one of my secrets to successful weight loss so far. 😄💖

wow!!! the snow does look beautiful, and don't you worry I believe you will stay on top of your weight because you worked so hard getting where you want to be so go ahead and eat a cookie it's all about moderation.
