I had dinner with a friend the other night who made a vegetable dish similar to your. Zucchini, small cherry tomatoes, yellow squash, gently steamed until just barely tender. She hit it with some lemon juice and cumin. Boy was it good. The addition of the cumin and lemon really did it.
