Happy 2024 to everyone!!

It's been a tumultuous ride the last few months. Fell into bad eating habits, recovered, then fell back. But now is as good a time as any to reset and refocus with a new mindset.

Surprisingly, I managed to keep up with my workouts, but one can't out-exercise a bad diet. I've definitely put on some fat, but I haven't weighed myself. And I don't know if I should or if it will just lead me to focus on the wrong goal. Either way, taking it day by day; slow and steady.

Hey, the best advice I can give is, stick to your workouts, stay off the scale and see the changes in your body taking place, I hate a scale because then you do it for the wrong reasons and not to look and feel great. Wishing you all the best 💪💪

Thank you for the advice, George. I think I'll heed it and judge by other factors as you've mentioned. The scale really is a mental stress at times.

I agree and I’m doing the same staying off the scale for at least 3 weeks of good exercise and diet so as not to get demotivated. I’ll track progress from there… right now just focus on getting back on track and weigh yourself when you’re in a stronger mindset. Don’t forget that January blues is real so no need to add extra…

Thank you @nadous. I'm just trying to get my eating habits back to where I want them. The weight should fall into place from there.
