GRRR. I got issues today.I cant decide if I'm hungry or craving or what but I just want to EAT today and I'm like actually considering crap. I wanna say its bc I've in training today so I didn't have time for a hearty breakfast so I had my yogurt and strawberries then some cottage cheese and tomatoes for snack. Lunch was decent and i just ate but I'm hungry again and thinking of cookies. WTH. I opened up some gum to kill it and need a decent snack and I cant wait to get to the gym so I can burn thru the urges. I hate feeling this way. Drinking a metric ton of water and I really blame boredom. I'm on a remote training and just sitting here.. At least I know boredom is a trigger and I can ignore it. Time to HULK up and suck it up . bwahahahaha..

Red "Don't do it" boredom is a big issue for me as well but I think we all have those days we just want to eat hang in there.

Yeah, I ate almost 2K calories yesterday, it was low fat, high protein (105 grams). Time to get some mini pretzels or nuts or something else that you can chomp away at. If it's nuts, keep chewing till it's just paste and that will help you feel like you've eaten more.

I'm feeling the same way. Had to do overtime at work part of me just wants to be a glutton when I get home. We will just have to hang in there!! Like the kitten says.

Its so annoying bc you get soo tempted to just mindlessly munch.. i wanted to post this bc i wanted to share that even if you lose a lot of weight and have invested a lot of time, energy and money like I have, these urges can just creep up out of no where. I pushed thru with a nice cup of pecan coffee with heavy cream.. hit the spot !

Anyplace that you can go for a walk or explore to kill downtime? I find that when I'm busy and moving around my hunger abates. Sometimes lunch gets skipped for that reason.

The fat in the heavy cream probably helped, I find if I'm feeling that way a little extra fat helps a lot. But I'm on LCHF so it's ok for me to do that.

I agree with Addie Aline! Remember fat bombs? One of those will kill the urge for sweets and provide fat which satiates your cravings!

Good job....I think the combination of a hot drink along with the fat definitely helps appease hunger. My stomach was growling already on the way to work this morning so I had coconut oil in my coffee and that did it for me. Also helping me avoid the birthday cake in the break room.

There are ways to satisfy food cravings if you get them without being unhealthy. I don't get cravings because of balanced healthy fats (nuts, avocado, eggs, etc), complex carbs (beans, rice, lentils, etc) and loads of protein (lean beef, turkey, chicken, salmon, etc). If you are getting cravings though, have you ever tried cocoa or cinnamon roasted almonds? You get a little unnecessary sugar, but plenty of healthy fats and protein too. How about frozen yogurt versus ice cream? Chocolate frozen yogurt with some fresh kiwi and strawberry slices is very tasty and it feels like you're cheating, but you aren't. You like chili? Try Hormel Turkey Chili (no beans). It is a protein bonanza and hardly any fat. Eat the whole can and be full knowing it was good and good for you!

warning,, don't indulge in Fatbombs unless you are following a LCHF way of eating,, eating high carb and adding good fats in large amounts will be disastrous . Just saying .
