Haven't been to the gym since December 22nd. Been watching the grandkids while on winter break. Son and DIL went to the Rose Bowl and I had them full time from the 30th til last night when they got back. Geesh, you forget how "active" kids are til you have them 24 7. Mostly it seems they argue over everything, can't agree on ANYTHING! We went to a resort on New Years Eve and spent the night. It had a big water park so that was fun. Got home on the 1st and husband was sick. He thinks it was food poisoning. Really really miserable! Just beginning to feel a little better now.

I will weigh in today at the gym. I can tell I've gained. My clothes fit but I feel "bloaty". No surprise, since I pretty much tried every "treat" there was.Was it worth it? Hmmm, kinda, everything was really good. I need to work on moderation, 1 piece/1 serving, not the entire plate! I'm not perfect and don't even try to be. A life without ever having sweets or carbs is no life TO ME.


I hope it doesn't come to this!!!

LOL....kids can be very active and quick. My partners 1 year old granddaughter seems to move with the speed of light and grabs hold of everything only to shove it in her mouth. At that age they aren't picky: marbles, plastic coins, dog hair..... Happy to have them but happy to hand them back too :)
