feeling bullet proof after a reading all the comments(74) on my last post. Nothing but love, support, good vibes, and great people of all walks of life and different view points. But we all agreed on one thing..... No need to let one bad apple ruin it for the bunch. It made me realize that I care too much what other people think and say about me these days. Which dont get me wrong.. Im all for respecting other people opinions and viewpoints, even the ones I dont agree on (my diet is better than yours),Im just not gonna let what they say bring me down when its negative (remember the mean comments from my sister?). When I was heavier, I had a thick skin bc I "shielded" myself from the nasty comments (omg what happened to you" or " wow, you let yourself go"). Why do I care now? Maybe its bc I seek approval or praise. Maybe Im just vain, LOL. Whatever the reason, this is a great reminder that Im doing this for me.. not anyone else.So I dont need anyone's approval or praise. As long as I feel good inside that's what counts. And Ive told sooo many people this thru out the years on FS. So taking it back to basics and taking my own advice. Im in it for me! and that swimsuit Im after !! Using all the positive vibes and energy from my amazing friends and buddies to fuel a killer work out today! Im literally headed to the gym after I post this! Mid week meal prep later today and off to invest in some more vegan protein. Happy midweek buddies! xoxo Andee
