Lessons learned. When life gives you a lemon, check what people around you are eating. It might not be all peaches. Went to my first PT appointment yesterday. I am so used to being the oldest, the fattest and the least fit in the gym. I had to give up yoga a decade ago. Swimming is now effortless because of my high buoyancy. Power walking is a distant memory. So back to the appointment - I feel young, fit and slim again. My therapist was impressed that I can still walk without a cane, and touch my toes. So I am counting my blessings. Still it only reinforced my commitment to keep moving and losing weight. If it was not for all the effort, who knows where I would have been now.
