Hello Everyone!

I am new to this site and am hoping to find friends that are currently on the same "lifestyle change" as me. I officially started my "lifestyle change" (I HATE THE WORD DIET) on September 9, 2007. That was the day I decided to join Weight Watchers and take back control of my life, health, and happiness! :] I weighed in at a whopping 283 pounds!! 8 weeks later (today) I currently weight 249, I am down 34 pounds!! Yippee!! I have tried many times to diet but never stuck to any of them. For some reason this time something inside me jst clicked! I am in it for the long haul this time around. Wish me luck!!

Great weight loss. I too have dieted many times before and am looking for something that I can live with. I just want to focus on eating healthy and getting 30 minutes of exercise everyday. My weight loss has been slow--about 22 pounds since April--but I feel good and I think I am learning a new way to live. I try not to focus on the scale so much as to focus on making healthy choices everyday. Good Luck!
