I feel good today! I ate well yesterday and I did cardio for AN HOUR!! I was debating and debating about whether to go to the gym ALL afternoon. Then I saw my mom was trying to get the housework done and instead of doing it for her I offered to take my sister to her dance lesson. Since it's right next door to the gym I couldn't take her and NOT go. So I went. And I stayed for an hour. Go Me!! :)
I felt so good this morning! The scale was up, which was a buzz kill, but since I'm not supposed to weigh in until Wednesday I'm not going to let it bother me. I feel very cute today... I have new shoes on, and (as long as the snow holds out..) I'm going to see Dear John with my sister tonight! We are going equipped with smartpop popcorn in ziplock bags and a 100 calorie pack of candy. Bring it on, Movie Theater Popcorn, Bring it on.
Also, I talked to an old friend from high school that I haven't seen talked to in YEARS. He facebooked me out of nowhere this morning. After talking to him for a little he goes "Wow, I just looked at your pictures and you look so good!" I know that I can take that as I looked bad before, but the last time I saw him was my freshman year of college and I DID look bad-over 200 lbs. It was a nice reminder that I have come a longg way, even if I struggle.
Three Things I'm Grateful for Today:
1. Fellow teachers who support you. 2. Dear John comes out in theaters (Channing Tatum=yummm) 3. Facebook- for reconnecting with old friends. :)
