I feel like I've hit a wall. I'm watching my intake and exercising. Doing what I should do, but the scale isn't moving. Could it be a plateau this early? Has anyone over 40 noticed that it's harder to lose weight than it used to be? I'm frustrated.

I'm 42 also and yes I don't drop as easily as I used to. I feel your frustration. Don't give up. You can do this! The scale will start to budge in time with hard work. Do you workout alot? I am a workout freak.

Thanks for the support. I try to exercise at least five times a week. I have a recumbant exercise bike and I do 45 minutes on it. I think I'll add something else to my routine to shake things up.
