I kind of fell off the south beach wagon yesterday. Our colleagues held TWO going away parties for us (one in the office at lunch, one at our boss' house at dinner) and I had not enough veggies and too many carbs, for sure. Lunch included sandwiches on bread (although it was good bakery whole wheat), and a small piece of some super fudgy cake!! At dinner I had two small glasses of red wine, some white rice, and a bite of ice cream. Funny, but the cake and ice cream were way too rich and I didn't enjoy them much. The bread was delicious, though, and I enjoyed the rice.
All in all it wasn't a horrible deviation, but definitely a 'treat' kind of day, I guess. :) It didn't seem to add any weight to my current 144 plateau, maybe it'll show up later. Dunno. Anyway, back on track today.
