Fasting until dinner today (religious reasons).
I've had a head cold the last few days with a pretty low appetite. But, today I'm really feeling the hunger. I would have loved a smoothie for breakfast. Dinner will be some sort of fish. Our daughter has offered to watch the little one so we get to go out tonight. It is a bit of a cheat meal in that I usually am not opposed to fried fish. It will still be logged so everyone can eyeball how to wreck a good diet. Ha. Don't use my Fridays to get ideals for healthy vegan meals. I will attempt to power through the day though. I'm under a good bit of stress with work presently. More than normal. Ever feel like there are people you can never please who also seem to be the same ones who never take responsibility for their own actions? Yeah....it's one of those weeks when you think to yourself: "A flight attendant would have been a great career. Or maybe I should have stuck with being a school teacher. Why can't I be a stay at home mom? And, last but not least...If only I could win the lottery."

I missed lunch because work got too hectic and busy.
Now I'm hangry. Looking forward to leaving for home where I have homemade cabbage soup in the slow cooker. Even if I eat two cups of it, my calories for today are ridiculously low. Tomorrow's lunch isn't looking better. The powers that be scheduled a meeting with lunch provided during the lunch hour. And, of course, it will probably be pizza. Since I don't want to partake in dairy consumption, Ive got to try to remember to pack myself a salad or something along those lines. Maybe even some celery and peanut butter. Or, I might just bring in some leftover cabbage soup and nuke it sometime during the work day. Maybe all three.
