I am still trying to do the South Beach to some degree. I'm allowing myself starches on a very limited basis. I haven't eaten to much fruit but have had a few grapes. I'm not really craving any sweets. I mainly eat a lot of salad during the week and shrimp or chicken. The doctor wanted me to follow the concept of South Beach but didn't want to put me on South Beach. Dairy he wants me to eat in moderation. If I stuck to the SB plan strictly, I have no doubt I could lose more weight. After Memorial Day I think I may put into effect 100% Phase 1.
