Week 2 of calorie counting in the books. The 1st week I was down 2.6lbs, this week only down .2 lbs. Isn’t as much as I’d hoped, but still something. Feeling good and like my clothes are fitting better. I’m hoping I can start implementing a workout routine as well. Trying to look at the long run and not just the weekly loss numbers.

there are always non scale victories, focus on them. Do something you love. I like to dance, I just turn on the tunes and dance like no one is watching! lol Today I burned 280 calories in 48 minutes. I actually cleaned up after making eggplant parmesan. for Father's day. Just keep moving . I feel like I have accomplished 2 things!

Keep at it! Once you hit 30 days your body won’t fight back so hard to keep at your normal weight. I’ve learned walking daily helps stop me from plateaus even when calorie counting 😁

Almost 5 lbs. in 2 weeks! That's great! My doctor said a slow weight loss is good cause you're more likely to keep it off. I have a 2-year goal myself because I have advanced COPD requiring continuous O2 and don't get much exercise, as long as I lose 5 lbs. a month, I'm happy.

Weight loss is a journey not a sudden landing. Just keep at it one meal at a time. One day at a time. And if a plateau comes, just stay on course. Be creative, have fun and enjoy your journey of lifestyle change.

My insurance company provides a medical professional who comes to your home annually. I have a person who I really like and request her each year. When she walked in last week, she said, "You've lost weight." I replied, "Just 14lbs." She immediately gave me a pep talk that there are no "justs." Any amount of weight you lose toward your goal is an accomplishment. So I'll pass on the pep talk! Not "only" 0.2 if you are moving toward your goal! You're doing fine. ☑️

My calorie counter says I have to eat 482 calories a day to lose 2 pounds a week so I’d be jumping of happiness if I was you :)
