Well, I've gained a little, which is never the direction one wants to go when trying to reach a weight loss goal. But I figure it's not too bad considering I'm on vacation and haven't been recording either food or exercises in my Food Diary.

Although I've splurged a little during my vacation (eating a serving of rice and some ice cream, for instance), I am trying to behave as much as possible... Sort of a test to see how well I can do to "maintain" if not lose without chronicalling everything on a daily basis as if on an "official diet".

I have been getting in some exercise, mostly a lot of walking (hiking in state parks and shopping around the Mall of America or in "The Dells"). I'm still in my size 8 jeans; a far cry from my size 18 shorts! So...

So far so good...but I'm still hopeful that I'll reach my goal of weighing somewhere in the mid- to upper-140s.
