Down slightly after a couple weeks of feeling stuck at the same weight. I'm glad for the loss, but am not sure if it's real. Maybe I've just entered the phase where the rapid early weight loss is done and now it's slow going? I think I need to integrate some strength training into my exercise routine. Running and soccer are going well, but they can only do so much. Will have to figure out a doable strength-building workout that I can keep up with.

When you find an enjoyable strength training, please share it with all. I am looking for ideas that I might find exciting. I too need to incorporate strength training but I am having a hard time getting motivated. I am sure once I get started, I will enjoy it (I did in college).

Celebrate the fact that you have lost 25 lbs! :) I do the weight machines at the gym regularly and I really like how toned my arms and legs are beginning to look. Some days it is tedious to make my way through the workout, but I like the results.

I suspect that you have reached the point where the quick loss is gone. But, even if you only lose 1 lb. every 2 weeks, that is 26 pounds at the end of the year :) So, at this point it becomes a test. Is our way of eating just a diet or has it become a lifelong habit? I've failed that test too many times before and now it looks like I've having to take it yet again. Wishing you success in your resolve.
