Hi, FatSecret friends and community. Always good to get home to the doggies, and tortoise. Need to focus on my diet. My knee is, oh so slowly, getting better, and I hope to hit the gym tomorrow. I still have hopes of it being 100% again. Old age is an interesting experience, if you haven't tried it, it kind of sucks. lol
Warren's Diet Tip of the Day: These are the foods I am to eliminate or cheat with on my diet; Soda(Regular or diet),regular if you cheat, stay away from aspartame, Fruit juices (insulin spikers),Dried fruit(nutrition eliminated), Candy, Pastries, Cookies, Potato Chips, Anything prepackaged(TV dinners,etc.)

Hey Warren, my grandpa who lived to be 93, always said that growing old, as sucky as it could be, was better than the alternative. He tried to walk 5 miles every day, rain, shine, snow, whatever until he was in his later 80's. Hope your knee comes around!

The last time my doctor saw me he didn't recognize me. :) That was pretty cool. You're right, Warren. I'm dealing with issues for my parents who are both in their 80s. Getting older isn't for the faint of heart. As mom says, "I don't know what they were talking about when they called this the golden years."

I stopped drinking soda ages ago, I can barely tolerate a diet one even... but eliminating most fried potato chips and pre-packaged convenience goods can really help
