Spent a couple hours at the Y today doing my usual walking, swimming and relaxing in the hot tub which I am beginning to think is one of my best motivators for going. I do like their treadmills better than mine because theirs has a tv screen going and that kills a hour pretty good but really being able to go swimming for me is like a luxury that I've never had before so I am taking advantage of that every time I go. I will say that I am not all that comfortable with strangers that basically don't show any modesty at all. I do understand that the locker room is a place to dress and undress, I just don't get the wandering up and down the isle not even bothering to cover up with a towel.
I feel like I'm doing better; when I've finished my hour on the treadmill I don't feel like I'm gonna die as bad as I used to feel. I love being able to shower and cool down in the swimming pool and take the weight off my ankles and knees. The only down side of that is having to walk home from the bus stop, but even that I am getting to be more accepting. Today it was freezing cold out and the wind was blowing but the sun was shining giving that false look like it was going to be warm...Not. There was places where puddles of water was frozen over. Well I'm done yacking for now just going to go rest for awhile. Hope all my buddies made this a great day.
