Hi everyone! I was off here a bit but I did my 1/2 marathon! I did it in 46 seconds more than I did it last year. isn't that amazing? And it was a totally different route. Funny. Anyway I did it with no pain at all! My foot was fine. The whole thing was just wonderful. My attitude was so positive. I got to meet my favorite biggest loser, Tara, and got a picture with her. She even was at the finish to high five me and take me in! She was such a good role model. I did exactly what she said not to do tho and loaded up on carbs right after the race. Its hard because you're hungry, but I'm set on being back in line here now. Thank you everyone for your support. I thought of all of you on the trail when I would tell myself, I may not be the fastest walker out here ( I came in 33rd) but I am a hell of alot faster than everyone who is at home today! A woman before the race told us, "When asked if I had a goal today, I told them, well, I will finish today and I will finish before anyone at home!" We loved it. So to everyone of you out there with a goal. Steady as you go!
