I do it every morning right after getting up and emptying bladder - it is habitual now. This way you can see a true trend. If you weigh sporadically, you might hit two highs in a row and feel that you are not losing. This way you can also see the true effect of binging on a particular food stuff and what the effect is over 1-3 days.

What plan are you following? I weigh in every morning after going to the loo, but it's not necessary tbh. I follow flexible dieting, or, IIFYM, so I follow my macros pretty closely. The scale can discourage you a lot though, and can vary quite dramatically. It's water weight from the food you had. And that will exit eventually.

I don't have a scale at home, but weigh myself every time I go to gym. I'm not following any real plan, just trying to eat healthier - clean eating, complex carbs, limiting fatty dairy etc.

I also weigh everyday. I think @Cscholly's explanation is perfect as to y i choose to weigh every morning. If i gain the following morning, i will know what it is i ate that made the gain....and first thing when i get up i best time to weigh i blv

My weigh in is on a Monday.i also weigh myself on a Friday morning to see if I need more effort over the weekend to get my goal of 0.5kg loss a week.

Every day, after my morning deposit, before eating anything, totally naked :) sometimes in the evening too... i find, when my mind is right and im committed to this thing, that when i find im up from the day before i try harder to keep it clean the next day. I need to get back there.

Ideally, weigh-ins should only be monthly, IMHO. I weigh in weekly. Did the daily thing for a while but fluctuations in body water levels can make one a bit (or a lot) crazy.
