I am sitting at my kitchen table trying not to feel guilty for indulging in a veggie and cheese omelet while catching up after being MIA all week. Just really busy. Now that it is cooling off I am hoping to start traveling less and get caught up on the personal things I put on hold. Too bad you can't catch up on exercise and eating right. I must be doing something right because I couldn't eat the whole inlet. Dogs are happy though because I was able to share it with them.

I believe I have eaten better this work season because I took fruits and veggies with me and stopped at fast food less. One win for me. However since July I have slacked off on exercise with the exception of swimming. So this week I am renewing my commitment to myself and my exercise program. I started off strong and did 30 minutes of toning and fat burning and some yoga. Today is just cardio and yoga. I am going to try and run on my elliptical for an hour while I watch the nascar race. Tricky part getting my butt off the couch.

Daughter I up so gotta go! Check in tommorrow.

TOM came to visit last week and decided to give me a weekend long migraine, but I survived and he is packing up his crap and hopefully will be leaving in the next few days.

I ate like crap yesterday, but the weekend wasn't too bad as I didn't really feel like eating. I am still eating more veggies and fruits and less meat, but need to watch my carb intake. When I get tired and stressed like now I tend to eat noodles as a comfort food.

I have been squeezing in exercise where I can. I got 2 hours of swimming with 97 laps in the pool on Monday and I got to my zumba class last night. Hopefully, I will get at least a swim in today, but would like a good sweat session too. I have so much to do with the two businesses and a four year old in preschool, plus family projects that squeezing is the best I can do for the week. I am teaching courses next week so it will be busy, but at least I am not traveling to any sites yet?

I can't wait for my mother-in-law's vacation as I am hoping to take another traveling vacation. It doesn't mean no work, but it does mean a little downtime and maybe a chance for my husband to catch up in his landscaping business.

AHHHH! I am so tired and stressed!

Well frustration has kicked in again. I went to the doctor and he says I am healthy with no problems, well except for out of wack hormones that I have had since having a baby.

I try to exercise regularly and to stay active. Yesterday I worked all morning standing at my desk, poured 9 yards of concrete in the afternoon, swam during and impromptu pool party (heated the pool to 85 degrees), and then after everyone left I did 65 fast laps (40'/lap). I only got out because a bat decided he wanted to join me.

I admit that yesterday my eating slipped and I overdid it, but since I had stomach and bad pain because of gas this morning I believe I was punished enough. With that said, I have been very good about staying 75% vegetarian, cutting back on fat, not stuffing myself at meals, and watching my portion size for the past week and that is not easy when you travel for work a few random days every week.

My travel is going to start slowing down, but not go away entirely and with school, ballet, and bowling starting it is going to get even more hectic. And due to my daughter's ballet class, I am going to lose my live zumba class on Thursday nights. I am going to try and convince the teacher we need a class on Wednesdays or try to find another one. I enjoy the live classes, but I can still motivate myself to exercise at home so it won't be that big of deal to lose the class. I just feel bad for my friend because she won't be making my $8.00 and I won't get to see the friends I have made.

I guess I have come to the conclusion, I am healthy, 95% of the time I eat right, I limit my pop (so far have only had 1 in 3 days), exercise regularly, stay active, so maybe I am just destine to be fat. I just wish I was only 20 pounds fat instead of 50 like when I was younger.

I have tried limiting myself to 1200 calories and exercising hard for 30-60 mins 5 to 6 days a week. I have tried 1500 calories and exercising hard for 30-60 mins 5 to 6 days a week. I added running this summer and ran 2 5K's, I have tried no exercise and a rigid calorie count. The scale stays at the 185. I have only lost 5 pounds this year and feel like a total failure. This is one time in my life I would have been proud to say I was a loser.
