Well since this week was my TOM, I can't complain usually I got up at least I maintained.

I wish everyday could be this quiet, peaceful,and stress free. Daughter is napping before ballet and I am standing here wondering what to do with myself. It was gorgeous weather here today so I took the dogs and the daughter on a walk and then we stayed outside for a while. I've got all my little chores done and since my back is really sore from exercising this week, I am taking the day off from hard exercises ( good thing I went on a walk or my pedometer would be really low.) I don't want to sit in front of the tv because I know I will snack. GOT IT! I will go play my piano.

I am giving myself a pat on the back this morning.
I had to travel yesterday and so by 4:00 pm I only had 2500 steps on my pedometer. With my goal of 10,000 I was a little down until I realized only I could fix it. So, I got my butt up off my bean bag chair, put down my knitting, went upstairs and pulled out my elliptical, turned on Dr. Oz upstairs and ran on the elliptical until 5:00 when I had to get my daughter up from her nap so we could go to Zumba together. Went to Zumba and ended the day with over 12,000 steps.
I am proud of myself because I was tired from traveling as it stresses me out especially since it was raining on the interstate, I had a headache, and was starving but didn't want to blow my points for the day. And I didn't!!!! The exercise curbed my appetite, I feel great about myself, and it relieved my headache at least until I came down from my exercise high, but by that time it was time for bed and I was able to sleep it off instead of taking more aspirin. Plus, it kept me from stress eating!
So, Pat! Pat! Pat!

This weekend was very busy. I got a lot declutter and cleaned, but did not fit any exercise in. I kept my eating in check even though I did not always pick the best things. I ended good though and had a salad for dinner last night.
I plan on exercising today to Rachel ray and maybe some zumba if time permits. I am traveling tomorrow, but am hoping to make it back for my zumba class. Wednesday through Friday will be the same plan as today. For now anyway, my days tend to change in a few hours with a phone call. It's called working for myself.
I made it through visiting with my family and now don't have to do it again until Halloween, but then it will be my sisters too. I will survive! Now sing it with me everyone!
