All I can figure is that the TOM (aka Aunt Flo) is on the way back for a visit. So, water weight is slowing things down, perhaps. Doing the citrus infused water, B-6, etc. Weight isn't budging. But, whatever. I am still staying with my high-veggie-healthy fats- lean protein (but not a ton of it) plan. It works best on my hormonally-challenged body.

I've got plenty of eggs from my hens, despite the sub-zero temps. Still have 3 turkeys to butcher...so there's some yummy, lean protein. There's still some chicken in the freezer from the ones I butchered in the fall. And, plenty of grass-fed beef. The kale and lettuces are still growing on the porch, along with the parsley. So, a few fresh greens to grab also. Onions, squashes, and Tatoes are still doing well in the cellar. Everything else got canned or frozen.

Honestly, it is so windy and cold out, I don't even want to go out to the Chiro for my back. Unfortunately, I do have to go out this evening to meet with a candidate running for a congressional seat- but, that was scheduled way before this weather hit. Looking forward to meeting the gentleman, but not looking forward to the drive.

Busy season is upon me now, so must get to work and will attempt some leg exercises. Upper body workout is still out of the question, with the shoulder and the pectoral hurting so much. (When it hurts to sleep, I know its bad.) So...off I go.

Didn't eat myself into oblivion during the SB. That's a bit of a victory. I could have resorted to emotional eating, but even I know that would not have helped the Panther's offensive line. Phooey. 21 should have been ejected after that face mask, too. That was dirty. Just sayin.

Cleaned up the kitchen, got the right foods in the right places: accessible and snackable. Celery with Cream Cheese, or with PB is fast and crunchy. Cukes by the cutting board. The chickens are finally laying again, so we have eggs galore! YAY! (hence, the 3 eggs this morning.) Making Reuben casserole this afternoon. And, another massive pot(s) of Veggistrone soup.

Still cannot exercise. I've got pulled muscles everywhere: back/shoulder, right pectoral minor, right side, ? Cannot explain this. Drank the "calm" stuff this morning- basically powdered magnesium mixed in water that stops muscle cramps. It did a so-so job. Kind of a bummer when it hurts to even breath. Saturday, I managed to hike on a ski hill, so I could watch my dd17 compete in her first ski competition. Good leg workout, anyways.

If I cannot exercise, then I will just eat clean and see if the pounds come off that way. Once the body is healed, I can go back to exercising too.
