I am okay with it. Expected it to be much more than a pound. Had a great weekend. Due to warmer weather, we took the bike down to Amish country and ate at an Amish restaurant. ALL homemade foods on a buffet! Counting it as an early birthday celebration since bf is working all week including Friday and Saturday. (My birthday is Thursday). Indulged in some forbidden foods. Their mashed potatoes and fried chicken was to die for and had a slice of blackberry pie. It was all so good even though I knew I would pay for it later. Later that night, I crashed hard from the sugar spike and subsequent drop. Felt kinda gross yesterday, but went to my mom's Halloween party. Had a great visit with the family. They hadn't seen me since May, so they were all telling me how good I looked. Great for the ego. LOL Today I am back on track and my normal routine. I hope everyone had a good weekend! Four words: Halo Top Ice Cream
Ate a full pint of chocolate all by myself. That stuff is just too good to be low carb...LOL However, there really IS too much of a good thing.
Paying today with an irritated tummy, an extra .6 pound, and knocked myself out of ketosis.
Ah well, back at it today. Halloween party luncheon at work, but I am prepared. I have some deviled eggs and grilled chicken to have with the salad that is provided. Normally I would take a low carb sweet to avoid the cookies and cake, but I think I have had enough sweet for the week. LOL

Doctor appointment went well. I had lost almost 4 pounds in the three weeks by her scale. I got my last month prescription of the diet pills. I will slowly wean myself off of them in the last week or so. She asked me about the injection med, but I took a pass. The pills have been nice to give me a boost, but I have also been doing pretty well on my own. The thought of giving myself a shot in the belly every day is somewhat off-putting. I had to do insulin shots while pregnant years ago and I never got used to it. I did show her my progress pic because she had not seen me at my heaviest and she was impressed by my progress so far. Gave me a little ego boost for sure. I am going to get together my old clothes this weekend and sell them. I won't get rich, but I will make a little money and they will be gone. If I don't have them any more, I can't go back. LOL

Bleh...not going to get discouraged. I had to get an all black outfit for a work Halloween costume and was able to get a size 14 petite pair of jeans. That is more important than the number on the scale. Going to the doctor today. Not sure if she will renew my prescription or not, but I am not going to stress over it. They have been nice to have because I think they helped, but I can do this on my own. Have a great day all.
