Busy weekend! 2 hour Zumbathon Friday night, 2 hour Zumba event Saturday morning, 1 hour of Aqua Zumba in the afternoon, 1 hour of salsa lesson, 4 hours of salsa dancing on Saturday night, then 2 hours of Zumba Master Class with THE Dar Reid of www.darsfitness.com on Sunday. Because I worked out so much I was starving the entire weekend. I didn't eat the greatest, in fact, most meals I pigged out. I'm scared that when I weigh in tomorrow that it will look like I did nothing but eat! I did not drink alcohol at all, even though everyone around me did, and I turned down a lot of the desserts I was offered. I feel good about that but yet I realize how all the other goodies aren't any better.
A really positive thing, however, from this weekend was the comfort I felt with the people I was with. By the end of the weekend I had gotten to know Dar pretty well and I felt great surrounded by the people from the events. I got to a place where I felt good in my Zumba pants and just my sports bra, and I moved and grooved it with all my glory hanging out. I actually felt really good, like, if these people don't accept me for who I am by now but I am good with it, why the heck not?! Besides, that tummy will look completely different if I keep up on my pilates for that summer bikini bod. :)
