Easing closer to my goal. :) Had hoped to reach my original goal (of 150) by my birthday. Doesn't look like that'll happen unless I can lose 3.2 more lbs in just 2 days. Not gonna starve myself to accomplish that, so if it takes a little longer, I'm ok with that. At least I'm getting closer.

My romantic weekend in Chicago didn't do too much damage on the scale. Hovering at 157... I can live with that. :)

I didn't weigh today...or yesterday for that matter. Mainly, because my husband and I were enjoying a very romantic weekend in Chicago. He surprised me with a stay at the luxurious Sybaris Pool Suites complete with long-stemmed rose and bed of rose petals. After I calmed down, he snapped this picture of me having fun "smelling the roses". :)
After 20 years of marriage, he still has my heart!
Needless to say, "dieting" wasn't on the menu while we ate out at Longhorn Steakhouse, although I didn't do too bad (I had steak, lobster tail, grilled shrimp, mushrooms and broccoli). And as you can see by the picture, I'm still able to easily fit in my new size 8 jeans. :) Of course, since I don't want to ever wear size 18 again, it's back to my usual low-carb life style first thing tomorrow.
